Part of the success of growing a successful downline through the effort of others, is your ability to be confident as a leader. You must be someone in whom people can place trust. Someone whom people can get a feeling that you did not recruit them so you could get rich, but that you sincerely want them to succeed. In network marketing, however, everyone is self employed and they employ no one. Their downline are not employees. The successful leaders at the top of the matrix are only successful because of their leadership and persistence to build up a downline over time.
